I bought one. Put it together and placed on a pile in my front yard. Wind hasn’t blown since. Haha. I like the product but really think it’s going to crack with moderate use. I recommend they modify the conduit connector to aluminum or steel. The wing connectors seem weak as well. Steel rod with cotter pins would be better.

I did an OPTEST on a day when the wind was 5 mph, and the blades spun nicely. The blades will definitely attract the birds during times of minimal wind. However, I was not impressed with the cap fixture that goes over the conduit. It is made of plastic that is not thick enough to withstand the pressure it will have on it in winds over 15 mph. Buyer beware. You may have to reinforce the cap fixture with zip-ties to prevent cracking.

Works just like advertised and adds great motion and flash to catch the eye of ducks from a long ways out.

I have used these products for years but only purchased my own recently. The new products I received were not made as well as others I have used. The materials seemed flimsier (cheaper) and the pole was not included. When I asked about the pole, I was told to go buy some conduit at the hardware store.... I would have rather had the pole designed for this product included with the purchase. I have used the devise, and it performed as designed, so that's good, although one wing appears to work better than the other... (?) Just concerned about its long-term viability.

Wish it also came with the holding pole
