Back bone supports

Very good product, works well.

Works as intended - not yet field tested

Seems to be a good durable product. Good upgrade from standard fixed backs. Couple of observations... 1) Most other collapsible back socks I have, are kind of 'fold and go'. These ones require depressing the release tabs to allow the backs to fold. Not really a problem, but may take marginally more time to pick up in the field. Plus if mixed with other styles, could be a little confusing for inexperienced 'spread takedown helpers'. No bigee.... 2) For Tanglefree socks with either sentry or feeder heads, these back supports do not have the 'stop pins' that preserve alignment of the heads with the socks. Not sure of the result - but without modification of the supports, I would be reluctant to recommend them to that use. I drilled and glued in small finishing nails in the folding mechanism, to serve as a mechanical stop to ensure head/sock alignment.
