    Tanglefree is proud to introduce the first ever Optifade camouflage patterned layout blind in the industry. The Flight Series Layout Blind features a 600D outer material and 1200D flooring for extreme durability. The inside of the blind doors are also camouflaged with the same 600D material to ensure you will not flare birds if you get caught with the doors open.  Zippered flagging ports have been placed on the top of the doors and on the sides of the blind for more effective flagging placement and personal comfort. You may be surprised how much interior room this blind has because it was designed to have a slightly larger footprint that gradually widens to cast less of a shadow. Other enhanced features include an aluminum frame, metal backrest connection buckles, two interior shell pockets, backpack straps, and heavy duty drag handle.

Lightweight Layout Blind

I like the Optifade covering on Tanglefree blinds, which is the main reason I purchased the blind. It is not as robust as my previous blind which served me well for 10 years. It is considerably lighter in weight and the floor is made of lighter material and isn't rubber coated. I'll have to wait until actual use in winter hunting to see if it is as warm but I suspect it won't be. The back support lacks padding and ground reflecting heat shield (which I HAVE incorporated from my old blind). My biggest concern was the "tightness" in the fabric when trying to get the doors to close. It took considerable force to do so and I was afraid of bending the frame (much less robust than my old layout blind frame) or tearing the fabric. When I expressed my concerns to Tanglefree I was told to "work" the doors to make them more malleable...I'm still concerned about the "tightness" and the effort required to close the doors; springing the doors open isn't the problem. I will write a further review after using the blind in the field. There is plenty of room in the blind. I'm 6'1" and 210lbs...room for me and my gear!

Good for all sizes

The function is par for the course of most blinds but where Tanglefree stood out the most with this blind is two main things: 1.) Very roomy on the inside for all sizes, I have this blind and I’m 5’9” 170lbs and there’s plenty of room, my friend also has the exact same blind except he’s 6’3” 320lbs and has plenty of room as well. 2.) The camo being on both sides of the doors is a huge plus on their part. The blinds are easy to use and easy to store, they way almost nothing. The only downside I found was the bare aluminum rails on the doors when there open, quick spray with some matte spray paint and that’s taken care of.
