Due to the angle and depth of the clip, you have to remove gloves and get the angle just right to attach to the line, the rig ‘em right design while similar has the gate opening high, clips easily and you can do it while wearing gloves, pretty important when diver hunting on open water in the middle of winter, the quality of the components is good, comparable to rig em right
