Very nice comfortable hat for the money, fit is slightly shallow but fits my big head just fine, have an older version of this hat for 3 years now and still going strong.

Very nice comfortable hat for the money, fit is slightly shallow but fits my big head just fine, have an older version of this hat for 3 years now and still going strong.

At 6'-5" and 3-4 XTL I admit that I am a big guy and I am at the outer limits of where these outdoor and hunting gear suppliers identify their core market. I am always on the lookout for a new supplier of quality gear, especially if they offer larger-taller sizes or with a generous cut.

This is a cool hat with nice fabric and latest camo design, however, the cap is very shallow and the brim is very short. At first I thought the short brim might enhance the peripheral vision when duck hunting, however the shallow cap just kept popping off my (fat) head.

Anyway, it would be nice if Tanglefree provided some additional insight about their products to give a hint that certain products are really just for medium to smaller dudes.

Anyway, no harm because I gave it to my 10-year old grandson for Christmas and he loves it and it fits him perfectly!
