The pack is awesome. I used it on many hunts already and I abuse gear. I love how durable and water proof it is, rain, sleet, and snow it doesn’t matter. The hard plastic bottom is a must have, I’ve set the bag down in 2-3in of water in the reeds and it kept my gear dry. The pockets are great to store extra gear and shells. I wouldn’t store the shells in the outer pockets if you are traveling and going to get splashed. It’s nice to put them in when you get to the blind and keeps them dry and out of the rain. The inter lining is nice that’s it not sewn in all the way because I get water and mud inside the bag from gloves or empty wet shells, loose trash etc. I just turn the lining inside out and wipe it down. The only thing is it’s definitely not a hiking backpack. Due to the bags nature it’s not going to give you back support or a waist belt thats load bearing. It’s not designed for that. I although have waded, and hiked in 1-2miles with it on my back, its not super comfortable but it’s do able. For the record I don’t make reviews nor do I submit them. I’ve never tried or heard of tangle free before but they were the only ones who made a bag that was this waterproof, durable, and big enough. Similar to my old one which lasted 10 years. To say the least, it’s hands down the best duck hunting bag. Money and otherwise. I’m now willing to try out their other gear now as well.
