Nice gun case. Didn’t fit my Beretta a400 xtreme plus 30 in barrel too great with a sling on it. Fit my 28inch sb3 just fine.

I’ve had several gun cases over the years. This one has held up better than any. I’ve been fortunate enough to not speak to its floating ability (hopefully I don’t find out). Overall great product that I would recommend to any waterfowler looking to protect their firearm.

After adding a review with a couple critical comments about the differences between this Flight Series gun case vs how they were originally I did receive an email explaining why the changes were necessary. Essentially they were changes Tanglefree was forced to make, and that's understandable. I appreciate them taking time to respond and explain. I did let them know that all the Tanglefree products I own are extremely high quality. I could not simply comment on my previous review so felt like I should add a new one.

This is a quality gun case, but it has changed since they first introduced the Flight Series gun case. I own one from when they first came out and the outside material is heavier duty and more water resistant. That gun case when held horizontal will stay straight where this one will fold in half. My original case also has a waterproof zipper on the pocket where this one does not. The last difference, which bothers me the most, is the velcro closure of my old one was more than half the length of the case which allowed for drying the inside of the case very easy. This new case is only about 8-10". You can literally see the difference in the promo picture they have on this page vs the product pictures. I just didn't notice it when I ordered. I feel like the $30 more for the Flight Series case vs the other floating cases was literally for a metal vs plastic buckle and a metal carabineer. If this build matched my first case I'd be satisfied with paying the additional $30.

The case is very well made and the hardware is metal. I am glad it’s metal and not plastic as a lot of other companies would cut corners there. I am not sure how it will handle water as it isn’t duck season. I am looking forward to using it this fall and winter. Its’s an added bonus that it matches my Beretta A400.
